A few days ago, a hidden secret was revealed after one of the most devastating droughts in 70 years hit Italy. In the largest river known in Italy, The Po, a World War II Barge was revealed.
Zibello, the barge photed above, was known for carrying and transporting supplies before it sank in 1943 here in The Po after an encounter with the Americans.
“It’s the first time that we can see this barge,” says Raffaele Vezzali, an amateur cyclist who got off his bike to look at the exposed ship, to the Associated Press.
Over 164 feet of the barge is visible after the Northern part of Italy hadn't experienced any rain for over 115 days.
